“Take your broken heart, make it into art” – Carrie Fisher

“Take your broken heart, make it into art” – Carrie Fisher. Here is a recycled art portrait I made of my Mom, Sandy Miller. After losing her to cancer over a year ago, creating this piece has helped me cope with the loss and tell her story. Her portrait is made with all of her trinkets-jewelry, fridge magnets, Christmas ornaments, buttons, pins etc. My favorite piece may be that Care-bear pin (used as her cheek.) .

Huge heartfelt thanks to all of you for your love and kindness through that hard period of time and beyond💕

Artist Reception For Tiffany!

323east_collage.jpgOver the summer, the fantastic folks at  323 East, the hippest gallery in the Detroit Metro area, hosted Tiffany Miller in their annual BBQued Artist Reception.  The DJ kept the music flowing late into the night as Tiffany autographed prints and posters, and met art enthusiasts from all around Royal Oak.   Tiffany who was born in michigan, but now resides in California, brought a little bit of Hollywood with her, as many of the cast and crew members from the glut of movies being filmed in Michigan, joined in the fun at 323 East.   Tiffany Miller Mosaics would like to thank everyone who made the event such a blast!
