“Take your broken heart, make it into art” – Carrie Fisher. Here is a recycled art portrait I made of my Mom, Sandy Miller. 
After losing her to cancer over a year ago, creating this piece has helped me cope with the loss and tell her story. Her portrait is made with all of her trinkets-jewelry, fridge magnets, Christmas ornaments, buttons, pins etc. My favorite piece may be that Care-bear pin (used as her cheek.) .
